This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne

Everlab is Australia's fastest-growing preventive health and technology-enabled medical services company.

After a recent $15m Seed Round, we're scaling rapidly across multiple locations and need exceptional IT operations talent to support our clinical teams and ensure seamless technology experiences for our staff and members.

Our growth trajectory requires innovative approaches to IT service delivery that can scale 10x while maintaining quality.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on IT Operations Specialist to take ownership of our day-to-day IT support and systems administration.

You'll be the go-to person for our staff across Australia and abroad, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to deliver exceptional member care.

This role is critical as we scale - you'll help build automated processes and self-service systems that grow with us while managing the complexities of a modern SaaS-heavy startup environment.

What You'll Do

Advanced IT Support & Service Delivery

- Provide Level 3/4 support to resolve complex technical issues across Mac, Windows, and mobile devices

- Own our Linear/Slack helpdesk, implementing ITIL v4 practices and continuous improvement

- Drive automation initiatives to reduce ticket volume and enable self-service

- Analyze support metrics using advanced analytics to identify trends and predict issues

- Implement remote support tools for distributed workforce enablement

Cloud-First Systems Administration

- Manage identity and access across 50+ SaaS applications with zero-trust principles

- Implement SSO/SAML federation and automated provisioning workflows

- Maintain endpoint security using JumpCloud MDM with automated compliance checking

- Design and deploy zero-touch deployment for new workstations at scale

- Develop SaaS vendor management strategy for optimal cost and security

- Implement shadow IT discovery and governance frameworks

- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with critical vendors

- Track and optimize IT spend across all platforms and services

- Build approval workflows for new application adoption

Compliance & Automation

- Ensure IT operations align with ISO 27001, SOC2, and healthcare requirements

- Implement automated asset tracking with lifecycle management

- Build self-documenting systems and maintain dynamic knowledge bases

- Create automated compliance reporting and evidence collection

- Support security audits with real-time dashboards and metrics

Training & Digital Enablement

- Create interactive training materials and microlearning modules

- Build IT champions network across all locations

- Measure and improve security & compliance policy adoption rates

- Implement AIOps for predictive issue resolution

- Build cost optimization strategies for startup efficiency

- Create automation-first culture within IT operations

- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven decisions

What we are looking for

- 3-5+ years in IT operations roles at fast-growing SaaS companies or startups

- Expert knowledge of cloud-first IT administration (not traditional on-prem environments)

- Strong experience with modern ITSM platforms and automation

- Proven ability to manage large user environments with minimal team oversight

- Track record of scaling IT operations through automation

Required Technical Skills

- **Automation**: Python, PowerShell, Bash, low-code platforms (Make/n8n)

- **MDM/Zero Trust**: JumpCloud, Jamf, or similar modern solutions

- **ITSM**: Freshservice, ServiceNow, or similar with workflow automation

- **Monitoring**: Real-time dashboards, predictive analytics, AIOps tools
