The Opportunity :

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabrication Supervisor to lead their busy workshop team. This role involves overseeing daily factory operations, ensuring the production of high-quality fabricated components, and providing on-site support during installations when required.

Experience required :
  1. Experience in staircase or balustrade fabrication / installation is essential
  2. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding
  3. Demonstrated leadership experience in a workshop or fabrication environment
  4. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  5. Solid understanding of NCC, AS / NZS, and relevant Australian building codes
  6. High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
  7. Excellent communication and team management skills
  8. Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  9. Willingness to occasionally support installation teams on-site
