About the Organisation: The Governance and Capability Service supports the Commissioner of Police in managing SA Police by ensuring appropriate governance and capability to meet statutory, governmental, and community expectations. The Service promotes strategic thinking, sets objectives, and aligns with SAPOL's vision and values to enhance performance.

Organisational Reform Program: Focuses on data-driven business improvements to enhance decision-making, efficiency, and service delivery. It involves collecting, analyzing, and applying data to identify performance gaps, streamline operations, and support strategic planning.

Role: Senior Digital Communications Officer

This role is responsible for developing and implementing internal communication strategies and managing the internal digital communications platform. The officer will foster awareness, build relationships with audiences, and provide digital marketing and social media advice to implement strategies across various communication platforms within the organisation.

Special Conditions:

  • The incumbent must hold current Australian work eligibility and will undergo a criminal history check.
  • May be assigned other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • Some out-of-hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
  • Participation in SAPOL's iEngage program is required.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications or a related discipline.

Salary: ASO6 - $98,478 to $104,165 per annum.
