About the Role :
Our small, boutique medical centre in Newcastle is seeking a capable and nurturing Practice Manager or Medical Receptionist to support our clinicians and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
You'll play a central role in keeping the practice running with care and efficiency—supporting both staff and patients with a gentle, can-do approach.
Key responsibilities :
- Overseeing daily operations and bringing structure and calm to the clinic
- Leading and supporting a small, friendly team
- Coordinating rosters and ensuring smooth patient flow
- Managing invoicing, billing, and daily financial tasks
- Liaising with private hospitals and managing referrals and correspondence
About You :
You're organised, approachable, and confident in managing the needs of a busy practice with kindness and professionalism.
You'll ideally have :
Prior Practice Management experience, or 2 + years as a Senior Medical ReceptionistStrong working knowledge of Best Practice or VIP medical softwareExperience in medical billing, debtors, and Xero would be highly regardedExcellent communication skills and a warm, patient-first attitudeSupportive, inclusive team environmentBoutique setting with a strong focus on patient care and serviceFamily-friendly and flexible cultureOpportunity to make the role your own and shape how the practice runs#J-18808-Ljbffr-
