Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Laverton North, VIC. As an Industrial Painter at General Cranes, you will be responsible for preparing and painting various crane components and structures. Day-to-day tasks include surface preparation, mixing and applying paint, operating painting equipment, and performing maintenance on painting tools and equipment. You will ensure all work is completed following safety standards and quality control measures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces and apply paint to crane components and structures.
  • Mix paints and operate painting equipment.
  • Perform maintenance on painting tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to safety standards and quality control measures.
Qualifications
  • Experience with industrial painting techniques and surface preparation
  • Proficiency in mixing paints and operating painting equipment
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and quality standards in industrial painting
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow specifications
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions
  • Excellent time management and ability to work within project schedules
  • Prior experience in the construction or crane industry is advantageous
  • Relevant certifications or training in industrial painting
