Team Context

As a Pricing and Performance Manager, you will be part of our Analytics & Insights team across our Developer, Media, and Commercial units. Your role is to help us reimagine our insights and pricing strategies while supporting daily team activities.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop multi-year strategic pricing plans to meet financial targets
  • Provide analysis and recommendations for short-term tactical product and pricing initiatives
  • Mentor Analysts and Senior Analysts to foster a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with Product teams to identify opportunities and risks in product initiatives, developing optimization or mitigation strategies
  • Create clear, detailed commercial models to assess business impacts, including customer and financial effects
  • Analyze complex data from various sources using diverse tools and techniques
  • Prepare pricing strategy and performance presentations for ELT and Board review
  • Work with Analytics, Product, and Sales teams to understand customer needs and market trends, influencing pricing strategies
  • Partner with the Commercial Finance team to understand financial impacts and trends
  • Maintain awareness of other products and pricing architectures within the group
  • Coach colleagues to enhance commercial acumen and articulate price mechanics effectively
  • Stay informed on digital product and pricing trends, identifying opportunities for REA
  • Build strong relationships across the business, including Economics, Data Science, Marketing, and Journalism teams

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience in a product/pricing role
  • Proficiency in Excel and SQL
  • Experience with digital performance and listings models
  • 7+ years relevant industry experience
  • Proven success in delivering commercial outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Confident in diverse settings and able to relate across levels
  • Proactive, curious, relationship builder with strong influencing skills
  • Ability to collaborate across functions in a fast-paced environment
