Overview

Fixed-Term (until 17.04.2026), Full-Time. Global Brand and Marketing Directorate. CQUniversity Cairns, Rockhampton, Bundaberg or Mackay (working from home is negotiable, excl. SEQ region). Higher Education Worker Level 5. Total Remuneration $95,618 to $107,560 pa (including salary of $80,799 to $90,890 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading).

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning and delivery of advertising and marketing materials across the University.
  • Review requests, offer marketing advice, write and edit content, and help ensure creative and written output aligns with brand and style guidelines.
  • Assist with the development of helpful resources for internal teams and contribute to smooth, timely service with a strong focus on quality and collaboration.

Position Requirements
  • An Associate Diploma in marketing, communications or a related field and at least two years subsequent work experience (or equivalent) including advertising and production, marketing campaigns, copywriting and project management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven experience in advertising and production media, including print, digital, and promotional materials.
  • Proficiency in business support software (e.g. Microsoft Suite and project management tools) and the ability to learn new systems.
  • A current Class C driver's licence and willingness to travel or work outside standard hours when required (staff may be required to work on other campuses other than the primary location).
