Temporary Finance Officer (6-8 Weeks)

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for supporting meaningful work? We're seeking a motivated Finance Officer for a temporary 6-8 week role, providing critical support to one of our valued clients within a collaborative, values-led Corporate Services team.

In this short-term opportunity, you'll play an integral role across key finance functions, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll administration, and financial reconciliations. Your accuracy, efficiency, and team spirit will help ensure smooth financial operations during this busy period.

Key Details:

  • Temporary contract - 6 to 8 weeks

  • Immediate start preferred

  • Attractive salary packaging options available (NFP sector)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately manage accounts payable and receivable functions

  • Support payroll processes and ensure timely, correct payments

  • Perform bank and financial reconciliations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and procedures

  • Collaborate with the Corporate Services team to ensure efficient finance operations

  • Uphold high standards of service and attention to detail

  • Contribute to a positive and professional team environment

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role (NFP sector experience is a plus)

  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Confident in using financial systems and Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to manage tasks independently while working collaboratively

  • A proactive mindset and commitment to delivering quality support
