Our client is a global training provider specialising in advanced, cutting-edge strategic approaches to Counselling, Mental Health, Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, and Strategic Psychotherapy. Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a Trainer and Assessor - Counselling & Mental Health to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Learning, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and assessing vocational training courses in the field of Counselling (relationship and/or family counselling, Mental Health, or similar). This role is crucial in equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the professional world.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions via online formats.
  • Assess and evaluate the performance of course participants, providing constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant changes into training programs.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Learning to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities and participant progress.

What we're looking for:

  • Extensive background in business and/or corporate training and coaching.
  • Experience delivering Diploma or Advanced Diploma courses, e.g., Diploma of Relationship Counselling, Mental Health.
  • A deep understanding of business and management principles.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Qualifications in adult education, training, or a related field, preferably in psychology or counselling, are highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
