We are seeking individuals who are motivated, enthusiastic and reliable to join our Operations team as a Leading Hand Receival Point Operator. We currently have one permanent positions available for immediate start

There is plenty of variety in the role with a range of tasks relating to grain receival, transfer and export onto bulk vessels. This is a physical role which will involve manual handling tasks and site hygiene. The role will be on a 10/4 roster. Accommodation is provided.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the grain receiving team

  • Oversee the receiving of inbound grain shipments, ensuring accurate recording and segregation.

  • Operate and maintain receiving equipment. Including Mobile plant equipment and all site assets.

  • Coordinate with other departments, such as quality control and storage, to ensure smooth operations.

  • Assist the Maintenance team across at sites

  • Enforce safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • High level of interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, communication, and time management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out tasks to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

  • High level of organisation and be able to manage multiple priorities.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in a warehouse or grain handling environment.

  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment.

  • Valid Western Australian C class driver's license

  • Be able to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
