Job Description

We're seeking a Director of Sales to lead and develop the sales strategy for two properties in the Hunter Valley – Cypress Lakes Resort and Elysia Wellness Retreat.

As Director of Sales, your responsibilities include driving revenue across segments such as MICE, Corporate, Leisure, Health & Wellbeing, Golf, and F&B. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence the future of two diverse and thriving properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual sales plans in collaboration with the Cluster GM
  • Manage key accounts across various market segments
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing sales and conference team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to promote repeat business
  • Represent properties at trade shows and industry events
  • Provide sales insights and market trend reports
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Sales team to maximize exposure and opportunities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Director of Sales or similar senior role within hospitality
  • Expertise in managing complex sales across multiple properties
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of revenue management and distribution strategies
  • Passion for customer experience and team development
