The Client:

Our client is an active real estate private equity investor, specialising in both direct property opportunistic equity and real estate credit. With over $2 billion in funds under management (FUM), they have been an influential player in the real estate market for nearly 10 years, focusing on high-return opportunities across Australia and New Zealand.

The Role:

Working directly with the CIO & Head of Capital Transactions, you will be heavily involved in analysing and evaluating potential deals, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all stages of the process. This is a busy, high-stakes role with long hours during peak transaction periods, requiring an individual with an impeccable attention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Chief Investment Officer and Head of Capital Transactions to conduct in-depth due diligence on new real estate investment opportunities.
• Analyse financial models, market data, and other relevant information to evaluate potential deals.
• Provide comprehensive investment reports and recommendations to senior team members.
• Work closely with the investment team during transaction execution, including document review, structuring, and risk assessment.
• Help identify opportunities for portfolio optimisation and support strategic decision-making processes.

We are looking for candidates with:

• 3-5 years in real estate, finance, or investment analysis post degree, with experience in due diligence and investment evaluation.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with financial models and market data.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high deal pipeline.
