Primary Objective

The Primary Objective of the Account Executive is to drive the success of national supermarket accounts by delivering proactive retail account support, coordinating promotions and customer communications, and contributing to accurate sales forecasting that aligns with production and inventory needs—while developing expertise in the fast-paced fresh food production industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support day-to-day management of key retail accounts across major grocery channels.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining short-, medium-, and long-term sales forecasts based on promotional plans, seasonal trends, and customer demand.
  • Work collaboratively with production planning and logistics teams to ensure forecasts align with supply capacity and stock availability.
  • Track weekly and monthly sales data, analysing performance vs forecast and identifying gaps or risks.
  • Contribute to promotional planning, execution, and performance tracking in collaboration with marketing and customer teams.
  • Prepare presentations, pricing files, and sales reports for internal and customer meetings.
  • Conduct regular store visits and market reviews to assess brand presence, pricing, and competitor activity.
  • Respond to account enquiries and help resolve issues relating to product availability, order fulfilment, or pricing.
  • Interact confidently with stakeholders at various levels within the customer hierarchy — from store managers to national buyers — to support strong working relationships.
  • Maintain CRM records and assist with preparing business review documents and commercial reports.

Disclaimer: The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not exhaustive and may change from time to time based on business needs. Employees may be required to perform additional tasks as directed by management.
