Your Role

You will play a crucial role in a resident's overall wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assisting with showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Meal assistance: Supporting residents with dietary requirements and assisting them in eating.
  • Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided and observations.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working with nurses, doctors, and other professionals to ensure the best possible care.
Skills & Experience
  • Cert III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
  • Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn
  • Collaborative and strong team player
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities
