We are currently seeking a Part Time Residential Building Manager (Monday-Friday 5 hours per day) to work in one of Adelaide's most prestigious buildings in the Adelaide CBD.

Reporting to theBusiness Development Manager,this position is responsible for assisting in the management of the day to day operations of the building.

Duties include:

Arranging repairs and maintenance

Managing contractors

Complaint handling and resolution

Ensuring by-law compliance

Making recommendations for improvements to the Committee

Attending scheduled committee meetings

Providingand presenting quarterly Building Manager's reports to Management Committee

Working closely with theBody Corporate Manager to create a place where people love to live

Undertaking daily, weekly and monthly site and quality assurance inspections of common areas, facilities, plant and equipment

Assisting with the tendering of service contracts when required

Creating, maintaining and overseeing ongoing service and maintenance schedules

We are looking for someone who:

Understands how strata and residential buildings operate

Has some knowledge of building maintenance in order to manage contractors effectively

Can undertake minor 'touch-up' maintenance tasks if required

Can communicate effectively, has strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach in dealing with key stakeholders

Can build and foster authentic relationships
