The Opportunity

Ampcontrol is on the lookout for a skilled Cable Repairer to join our Thornton operations on a full-time basis. If you're experienced in cable repairs and ready to take on a new challenge, this is your chance to make a real impact in a critical industry. Our Cable Services team plays a vital role in supporting the mining, industrial, and commercial sectors ensuring reliable, safe electrical infrastructure that keeps operations running smoothly and workers protected.

Responsibilities
  • Repairing reeling, trailing, and flexible cables
  • Testing for faults and verifying repairs
  • Inspecting and fitting plugs/couplers
  • Ensuring all work complies with required standards
  • Supporting general workshop operations as needed
