Our client
***is the premier cable repair facility in Australia. They are the largest cable repair shop in Australia servicing customers primarily in the Hunter Valley.

Due to significant increased workload they are looking for 2 x Cable Repairers to join their team.

As a Cable Repairer the successful applicant will repair electrical cables ensuring that tested cables conform to the required standards.

This opportunity provides:

- On the job training to support your transition to becoming a skilled Cable Repairer to be able to carry out;
- Testing and fault finding of mining cables
- Electrical cable repair and plug fit out
- Exposure to workshop operations

To be suitable for this position, you are required to have:

- Previous experience working with your hands
- A proven and reliable work history
- Knowledge of safe working practices and manual handling techniques
- A current NSW drivers licence
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders are encouraged to apply._
