About The Role

Are you looking for a rewarding career? We are seeking a casual Veterinary Receptionist to join our clinic. In this role, you'll support the veterinary team in delivering excellent customer service and care to clients and their animals. You'll work with a team of veterinary professionals under a respected brand in animal welfare. If you are passionate about positively impacting animal welfare, we'd love to talk to you.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls with professionalism and provide accurate information.
• Transfer calls to the relevant department.
• Provide face-to-face customer service and facilitate appointment setting.
• Assist with admission and discharge of patients.
• Ensure daily register reconciliation.
• Assist with preparing invoices, documentation, and document management.
• Maintain the waiting room store and replace merchandise as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties.
• Open and close the reception area and maintain a clean, tidy environment.
• Comply with OH&S guidelines to maintain high standards of personal care.
• Address issues and resolve conflicts with strong customer support.
• Answer a broad range of client questions in line with policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong experience in a high-volume customer service environment.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in administrative and reception roles.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite and IT systems ability.

About Us

Our hospital has state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray and ultrasound. We are located in Lenah Valley, and we operate Tuesday to Friday with after-hours work referred to a nearby emergency clinic to support work-life balance.
