Job Title: Receptionist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced receptionist to join our team. As a receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients and their animals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative and reception roles, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a high-volume customer service environment. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner.

The role also requires the ability to work well with all levels of the team and wider organisation, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls with professionalism and provide accurate information.
  • Transfer calls to the relevant department.
  • Provide face-to-face customer service and facilitate appointment setting.
  • Assist with admission and discharge of patients.
  • Ensure daily register reconciliation.
  • Assist with preparing invoices, documentation, and document management.
  • Maintain the waiting room store and replace merchandise as needed.
  • Perform general administrative duties.
  • Open and close the reception area and maintain a clean, tidy environment.
  • Comply with OH&S guidelines to maintain high standards of personal care.
  • Address issues and resolve conflicts with strong customer support.
  • Answer a broad range of client questions in line with policies and procedures.
