We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Perioperative Nurse to step into the role of Theatre Floor Manager within our fast-paced, high-performing Perioperative Unit.
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive manager to support both our team and department. This role requires a strong, confident leader who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure the seamless delivery of perioperative services while effectively managing patients and staff.
You will be responsible for the management of 15 busy operating theatres for both elective and emergency procedures. You will work closely with a team of floor managers and neighboring unit managers to ensure the smooth running of the complex.
You will work with all theatre stakeholders to achieve excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
Skills And Experience- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Extensive current clinical practice in perioperative role
- Desirable previous theatre floor management experience
- Ability to build rapport with VMOs and staff
- Commitment to improvement and excellence in the delivery of outcomes
- OHS responsibility and leadership in risk minimisation
- Ongoing activity analysis
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage resources and experience in implementing sustainable change
