We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to support our fast-paced food manufacturing facility. This role is critical to ensuring machinery and plant equipment remain safe, reliable, and efficient, minimising downtime and supporting production targets.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring electrical equipment, plant, and machinery are operating effectively and safely

About You

• Qualified/licensed Electrician (A-Grade or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, motors, and control systems.
• Proven experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork.
  
  

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following

• Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance on production lines, packaging equipment, refrigeration, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults with urgency to support continuous production.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and modifications of food manufacturing equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards, HACCP, GMP, and site policies.
• Maintain accurate service records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimise plant performance.
