About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Preventative Maintenance Electrician to join our client, servicing high-rise commercial and residential buildings throughout Sydney CBD. This role will suit an electrician who thrives in a preventative maintenance environment, takes pride in delivering high-quality work, and is confident working both independently and as part of a professional team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems across high-rise buildings
  • Perform RCD testing, emergency & exit light testing, and other compliance-related tasks
  • Accurately complete detailed compliance and service reports to a high standard
  • Troubleshoot and identify potential issues before they become critical
  • Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with Australian Standards and OH&S requirements
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication and reliable service

About You

  • Fully qualified A-Grade Electrician with a current Victorian electrical licence
  • Experience in preventative maintenance, compliance testing, and reporting
  • Comfortable working autonomously with strong time management skills
  • High attention to detail in paperwork, compliance, and safety documentation
  • Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations
  • Professional, customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
