Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

Location: Eastern Creek, NSW

We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team at our Eastern Creek facility. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving production and packaging equipment in a busy pharmaceutical contract manufacturing environment. Your work will ensure maximum equipment availability, efficiency, and compliance with electrical safety standards.


Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Perform routine and reactive electrical maintenance on production lines, motors, switchboards, sensors, PLC-controlled systems, and automated machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical faults and control circuits.
  • Maintain electrical equipment and support commissioning of plant upgrades.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections in line with compliance schedules.
  • Undertake hands-on mechanical and pneumatic troubleshooting when required.
  • Keep accurate records of electrical work, wiring diagrams, and maintenance logs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Current NSW Electrical License.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
  • Strong fault-finding and repair experience in automated and PLC-controlled systems.
  • Familiarity with variable speed drives, sensors, HMIs, and industrial control systems.
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 (Wiring Rules) and electrical safety regulations.
  • Excellent diagnostic, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Siemens automation (PLC, HMI, Drives) highly regarded.
  • Experience with pneumatic systems and components desirable.
