Overview

Bega in Koroit are looking for its next superstar team member to join a small team in the powders area. The site manufactures a range of dairy products and produces a substantial amount of lactoferrin extract annually.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring all production functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner and for delivering product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with minimal waste in the correct quantity. The candidate is required to work 12-hour shifts, 4 on - 4 off (2 days from 6 AM to 6 PM, 2 nights from 6 PM to 6 AM).

Responsibilities
  • Safe setup and operation of all equipment in allocated area
  • Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues
  • Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation; work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime
  • Training staff and assisting with assessment as required
  • Collaboration with Cross Functional teams
About you
  • Previous experience in a Production Operator role, FMCG background desirable
  • Ability to work without supervision and take direction as required
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to develop
  • Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team
  • Strong mechanically minded and problem-solving skill
