About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a community-minded and talented people leader to showcase their leadership and business development skills as an Area Manager in our Bowen Region.

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and managing the effective operations of Queensland Country Bank. Your role will focus on providing high-quality professional service and support to achieve the branch area's goals and objectives. Ensuring all branch staff deliver excellent Member service and support to internal and external members within their roles is essential.

This is a full-time position based on a 38-hour work week. The successful applicant must be willing to work outside these hours if necessary.

About You

Applicants should demonstrate:

  • Business development skills
  • Leadership experience and skills
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including negotiation, time management, and conflict resolution
  • Management experience with medium to large teams
  • A passion for community involvement
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry and mortgage lending (desirable)
