Village Management - Multiple Opportunities | Regional QLD | 14:7

Civeo Australia is seeking experienced Village Managers and Assistant Village Managers to join our leadership team in regional Queensland. These are hands-on management roles where you'll spend time in the field directly with your teams day-to-day. What will you be Doing?

People Management:

Lead, motivate, and empower staff
Develop efficient roles, rosters, and staffing structures
Collaborate on recruitment and retention strategies
Set and measure objectives and KPIs
Implement training programs
Manage disciplinary matters fairly
Foster a values-based culture and ensure excellent communication
Promote safety and provide high-standard accommodation for staff& guests

Customer Service

Deliver excellent services adhering to quality standards
Implement client agreements
Seek improvements in products and services
Continuously improve customer satisfaction and maintain safety

Process Management:

Implement health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
Maintain relevant accreditations
Improve processes using business efficiency tools
Ensure efficient IT system use
Foster innovation and creativity
Maintain and protect Village assets
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets
Achieve EBITDA targets
Provide financial reports and review profit and loss accounts
Adhere to financial policies and procedures

Who's our Ideal Candidate?

As an experienced Village Manager (VM) or Assistant Village Manager, your management skills are highly developed, you know how to prioritise effectively, and can handle multiple competing requirements. You will be an excellent communicator who can speak with ease to a diverse group of clients, visitors, guests, and members of your team.

In addition, you're a safety champion with an in-depth understanding of remote site safety standards, especially HACCP. You can delegate effectively, lead by example, and drive strong performance in safety, finance, and guest experience, according to Civeo and client requirements.

Facility / Village / Remote Accommodation Leadership experience
Outstanding leadership experience, with the ability to build, grow, and develop a strong team
Resilient, determined, and passionate for hospitality
Strong understanding of Profit and Loss, budgeting, costs controls, and rostering
Advanced computer literacy, and ability to pick up new systems quickly
Excellent attention to detail with data, and comfortable with regular reporting
Passionate about safety and providing an enjoyable working environment for all stakeholders
Valid driver's license
RMLV (Responsible Management of Licenced Venue)
Advanced First Aid certificate (qualification will be offered to successful applicants who do not hold this)
