About the Role

We are looking for a qualified/experienced Landscape Maintenance Supervisor with an enthusiastic and positive work ethic. You will need a proven track record in delivering high quality landscape maintenance works through industry best practice, excellent knowledge and standards of OH&S. Prior experience overseeing council gardening/mowing contracts or commercial/developer maintenance would be highly regarded.

You will be managing multiple projects and providing support, training and mentoring to junior staff and Apprentices. You will have a "can do" attitude with a strong commitment to contribute as a part of a team. This role is a full-time permanent position starting in January 2025.

Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple commercial landscape maintenance projects
  • Provide support, training and mentoring to junior staff and Apprentices
  • Ensure work is delivered to high quality standards with OH&S compliance
  • Coordinate resources and scheduling to meet project deadlines
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels to maintain strong relationships
Experience and Skills
  • Experience in all aspects of commercial landscape maintenance
  • Excellent time management: plan, prioritise and organise multiple projects and resources
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation
  • Good computer and literacy skills
  • Attention to detail and strong customer focus
  • Practical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Current Drivers Licence and White Card
  • Landscape Qualification will be highly regarded
