As an independently owned and community-focused store, FoodWorks Oak Flats stands at the heart of Oak Flats. Located at 74A Central Avenue, we pride ourselves on offering fresh produce, quality grocery essentials, and a personalized customer experience.

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate individual to join the business in the leadership role of Retail Manager. The position is responsible for the entire operations of our retail services in our front-end shop. This includes a diverse portfolio of functions within our retail store, including customer service, inventory management, stakeholder communication, and People and culture. It organizes and controls the operations of a retail trading establishment.

This position will report directly to the Director, and the job description includes but is not limited to

  • Maintain effective day-to-day store operations and determine the level of stock for smooth sales and service standards.
  • Drive increasing sales through add-on sales and by providing input and ideas on how to continuously build sales.
  • Proactively plan and direct outstanding customer service and sustain sound client relations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with customers with confidence and promote the sale of products.
  • Capability to work in a team and solve problems.
  • Strong financial judgment with the ability to drive sales and meet targets.
  • Develop, motivate, inspire, and support your team
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

About The Applicant
  • At least a diploma in business or management; a Bachelor's or Master's in business

administration is preferable.
  • At least one year of retail management experience is mandatory.
  • Motivation to inspire team members for excellence
  • Good time management & leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Other Details

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: AUD 76,515 per year plus superannuation.
