Overview

Electrician - Service and Maintenance role across Sydney and surrounding areas with Stowe Australia. This position focuses on electrical maintenance, service, and small to medium size projects, including rapid 24-hour service coverage.

Stowe Australia has been providing Electrical Services for over 110 years and has developed a strong background in electrical and communication installations and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all electrical and communication tasks in a safe, effective and productive manner as required by the employer.
  • Actively participate in productivity management processes and complete work sheets as required.
  • Work in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plans (PSRMP).
  • Report unsafe practices, hazards, injuries and incidents immediately to your Supervisor.
  • Maintain and secure tools and plant provided by Stowe at meal breaks and at the end of each work day.
  • Provide a list of personal tools to your Supervisor on commencement or whenever changes are made to your tool kit, and ensure compliance with site tool lists.
  • Complete Inspection & Testing Procedures (ITPs) and Final Inspection Certificates (FICs).
  • Maintain up-to-date paperwork (e.g., Simpro, timesheets) and record hours/materials for Production Control Work Packs.
  • Maintain good communications with Leading Hands, Foreperson and other personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Australian Standards and ACA Standards and maintain a current copy of AS/NZS3000.
  • Maintain ongoing skills development and Electrical licencing requirements.
  • Ensure isolations are conducted in accordance with Stowe Australia\'s four-stage isolation procedure.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with Stowe Australia Arc Flash Clothing requirements.
Qualifications
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical License as recognised by State Authorities
  • ACA Licence
  • Current CPR & LV Rescue Certificate
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Electrical commercial construction, installation & data experience
  • Well-developed time management & prioritisation abilities
  • Communication – interpersonal & organisational
  • Diligence to safe work practices
  • Reliable and punctual attendance to work
  • Contributes to achieve desired outcomes and a positive work culture
