Role Overview

Are you ready to bring some sparkle and shine into people's lives? We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Domestic Assistant to join our Community Care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality home care domestic services, ensuring our clients' living spaces are clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Responsibilities

As a Domestic Assistant with Pop-Up Health, you will deliver domestic services tailored to our clients' needs, our modern head office, and our fleet of vehicles. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform general cleaning and domestic duties according to our care plan, and accurately complete client notes and documentation.
  • Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes to our Client Care Liaison.
  • Maintain open communication with the Service Coordinator regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Report feedback and complaints following company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and report hazards, risks, and incidents promptly to ensure safety.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace, adhering to workplace health and safety policies.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff to create a seamless client experience.

About You

To be considered, you must possess the following:

  • National Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Check
  • First Aid and Manual Handling Certificates
  • COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations
  • SA driver's license and a reliable vehicle

You should also have a reasonable level of fitness to perform tasks such as kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting (up to 10kg), and standing or sitting for extended periods. While cleaning or care work experience is preferred, we value candidates with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
