Join Our Finance Team as an Assistant Accountant – Payables. We're looking for a detail-oriented finance professional to join our team and support a wide range of accounting activities. From rates and taxes to reconciliations, vendor management, and accounts payable, this role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real difference in how we deliver financial services across Goodstart.
Responsibilities- Manage rates and taxes processing, accruals, reconciliations, and assistant accounting activities to ensure accuracy and integrity of Goodstart's financial operations.
- Support end-of-month reporting and maintain vendor relationships.
- Support Accounts Payable to ensure payments are processed on time and in line with policy.
- Contribute to compliance, system and process improvements, and the financial sustainability of the organisation.

- A minimum of 5 years related accounting / bookkeeping and Accounts Payable experience
- Previous experience/ knowledge of SAP
- Minimum Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- A Certificate III/IV in Accounting or Bookkeeping (or equivalent) will be highly regarded
- Current QLD Working with Children Check
