About this role…
The firm is now looking to appoint an experienced and driven senior Family Lawyer at Partner level, to become part of their success. You will be joining an already established family law team with steady client referral sources. This role would suit an experienced Family Law Partner looking to find their new home (there are options to bring your team if desired/applicable) or an experienced Special Counsel seeking to take the next step in their career.
Working alongside a dedicated family law team, you will handle all aspects of family law matters, for example.:-
- Complex Property & Parenting Matters
- Financial Agreements
- Spousal Maintenance Applications
- Same Sex and LGBTIQA+ Family Law Matters
- Divorce Applications
- International Family Law
The ideal candidate will be a talented & passionate senior level Family Lawyer (eg. currently at Partner or Special Counsel level) with proven 'runs on the board' and the following attributes:
- a solid background in Family Law within a recognised family law practice;
- LIV Accredited Family Law Specialisation ideal (not essential)
- able to 'hit the ground running' and be a willing mentor;
- a commercial mindset with a passion to further grow the family law practice;
- the ability to work autonomously within a team and contribute your knowledge & expertise;
- strong communication skills and 'client service' focus.
