The Client
Our client is a well-respected Family Law firm located in the Melbourne CBD. This firm is committed to fostering an environment of continuous development, open communication, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to work in a well-established Family Law practice. You will ideally have a passion for family law and have conduct of your own matter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work along an esteemed partner on a variety of parenting & property matters.
- To be able to manage own case load - (with supervision).
- Assist with preparing of conferences and mediations.
- Assist with preparation of legal documents.
- Meet important deadlines and identify priorities.
About You
To be successful, you must have:
- At least 4+ years' of legal administrative experience in Family Law.
- Proficiency with the Federal Circuit Court & Family Court of Australia processes and procedures.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational and time-management skills.
- A client focused approach.
- A foundational understanding of all aspects of family law.
- A strong commitment to client service and legal excellence.
- Experience in maintaining relationships with clients, barristers and other important stakeholders both internally and externally.
