Swan View Senior High School (SHS) is a school that is going from strength to strength. Opening in 1977, the school has a long and proud history with traditions that continue to be upheld today.

The Role

We seek motivated applicants with a passion for teaching Science at the secondary level, possessing a solid understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. In your role as a Science Teacher, you would ideally deliver a curriculum tailored to the diverse needs of all students, fostering an environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential. Your dedication to academic excellence and high-quality teaching and learning will set the standard for our learning community.

The ability to teach Year 12 ATAR Human Biology and Psychology would be advantageous.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration .
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website .
• apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
