About the role

The Merchandise Leader supports the delivery of inspiration, key events, price perception and great customer experience in destination areas.


What you'll do
  • You ensure the delivery of a great customer experience every day
  • You engage and make a real difference to the communities you serve
  • Support our value offer and correct price ticketing
  • Ensure a clean and tidy store for our customers to shop
  • Plan and deliver inspiring destinations through visual merchandising and setting up new planograms across all departments
  • Engage and communicate with your team through change, explaining the why, not just the what
  • You will focus on improving capability of your team through coaching and empowering

What you'll bring

We are looking for a purpose led leader that ensures care and belonging are at the forefront of every decision you make for team, customer and community. You work with agility and are adaptable to change as we continue on our rapid transformational journey

  • You use data & insights to drive decision making not intuition or gut feel on Team, Customer and Performance metrics
  • Creative but with a keen eye for detail and strong planning capability with the ability to embed structured processes and routine
  • Availability to work a flexible roster which may include evenings and late nights across the 7 days of the week
