About you

To practise from Brisbane Counselling Centre, you will need:

  • To be caring, warm and dedicated, with a growth mindset
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • To be eligible to apply for a Medicare provider number
  • Your own ABN and professional indemnity insurance
  • To be trained in EMDR or be willing to obtain training in EMDR
About Brisbane Counselling Centre

Brisbane Counselling Centre offers the following to therapists practising from our centre:

Quality support- Our highly experienced reception team will provide support with administrative tasks, enabling you to focus on your clients

Mentoring- Provide skill development and guidance in utilising EMDR to enhance your professional development

Friendly therapists- We have a warm and caring group of therapists with a diverse and extensive range of experience. We hold regular peer support meetings

Flexible- Determine the days and hours you wish to work to suit yourself

Referrals- We have a broad referral source as we are well respected and have been established for over 35 years, providing a constant stream of clients

Location- We are conveniently located above Central train station in Wickham Terrace, Spring Hill

Practice provisions- We take the headaches out of private practice by taking care of marketing, administration, payments and accounting

Beautiful environment- We pride ourselves on providing a pleasant, inviting space for clients and practitioners
