About the Role
This position is two to three days per week and open for immediate start for a clinical or registered psychologist.. Based at our primary clinic in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane, you will be largely responsible for providing evidence-based treatments and psychological interventions to clients across the lifespan. With a primary focus on the assessment and treatment of clinical eating disorders and broader eating, weight and body image concerns, you will be supported by an experienced multi-disciplinary team. In addition, there is scope in this role to develop any broader clinical interests you may have into your regular caseload.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be engaged on a contractor or employee basis, with the opportunity for immediate start.

We are looking for people who can bring
- A passionate approach to your work, and a desire to contribute to our team culture
- Experience or a desire to work in the field of eating disorders and broader eating, weight and body image concerns utilising a Health at Every Size approach to your work
- An understanding of inclusive, trauma informed, neuro-affirming practices
- Appropriate registration with your relevant professional body
- Eligibility for a medicare provider number
- A current Blue Card, or the ability to gain one prior to commencement if relevant
- A current Yellow Card, or the ability to gain one prior to commencement if relevant
- Formal training and clinical experience in the delivery of evidence based eating disorder treatments such as Family Based Therapy (FBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT-e), or Specialist Supportive Clinic Management (SSCM) will be highly regarded.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Full unrestricted psychologist registration with AHPRA.
- Eligible for a Medicare provider number.
- Hold or willing to hold appropriate public and professional indemnity insurance
- Satisfactory working with children (Blue Card) and police check.
- Passion or experience in the field of eating, weight and body image concerns.
- Completed or willing to complete training in evidence-based treatment models for eating disorders such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Enhanced (CBT-e), Family Based Therapy for eating disorders (FBT), Adolescent Focussed Therapy (AFT) etc.
- Maintain accurate, timely and confidential record keeping practices
- Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing supervision and professional development
Desirable
- Credentialed eating disorder clinician (CEDC) or on the path to becoming one.
- Member of the Academy of Eating Disorders (AED) and/or ANZAED.
