Overview

Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand and Catering Assistant to join our professional team.

Responsibilities
  • Support both the kitchen and catering operations, including general cleaning and kitchen maintenance, washing up, stock handling, and supporting chefs with mise-en-place set up and breakdown.
  • Assist with sandwich making and basic food preparation.
  • Assist with event and function set-up and pack down.
  • Provide general kitchen and catering support to ensure smooth service delivery.
Hours and days

We are looking for a casual kitchen hand to support our kitchen team with full availability seven days a week (including public holidays and evenings).

You will have
  • A can-do attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable with some heavy lifting
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Above all, a great personality with a can-do attitude
  • Previous food preparation experience (sandwich making, salads, plating)
  • Current, valid Queensland driver's licence
