The Role

As our State Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our Victorian operations, leading a talented team of Business Managers, Account Managers, and Consultants. Reporting directly to the GM, you'll be responsible for spearheading business development, delivering strong results, and ensuring we continue to exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development by exceeding 15% year-on-year growth and opening new commercial opportunities.
  • Expand market presence through strategic client engagement, tendering, and partnership development.
  • Lead and inspire your team through mentorship, coaching, and performance development.
  • Own the P&L – ensuring financial targets are met while driving efficiency and excellence.
  • Foster collaboration with leadership, branch teams, and shared services to deliver on state-wide strategy.
  • Leverage AI and technology to streamline operations, win business, and stay ahead of competitors.
  • Champion client success with a strong focus on retention, satisfaction, and long-term growth.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of leadership experience within blue-collar labour hire or a related sector.
  • A proven track record in business development and P&L management.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Leadership that inspires teams, drives accountability, and builds a culture of growth.
  • A passion for innovation, with experience implementing smart tech solutions to gain competitive advantage.
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills.
