We are seeking an experienced State Manager responsible for overseeing the operations, sales and overall performance of our Victorian team. The leadership role involves managing multiple teams and verticals within the business to ensure strategic objectives are met, delivering on financial targets, ensuring compliance and driving growth. The State Manager acts as the key liaison between our Victorian operation and the national business model ensuring alignment with national goals and maintaining operational excellence across the state.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage internal teams and support staff across the state.
  • Develop and execute state level business plans aligned with national strategy and targets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, budgets, KPI's and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure high standards of customer service and operational delivery.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities within the state (e.g new markets, partnerships, products.)
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal and internal policy.
  • Recruit, train and retain high performing talent, manage performance and succession planning.
  • Foster a positive, accountable and results driven culture within teams.
  • Represent the company at key events, meetings and industry functions within the state.
  • Regularly communicate and collaborate with other State Managers and National leadership.

  • Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
  • Operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention metrics.
  • Compliance and risk management performance.
  • Strong understanding of security protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Successful execution of state initiatives and projects.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years in a senior management or regional leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi site operations or sales functions.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage change and deliver outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
