Overview

Senior Research Manager role with a boutique insights agency delivering full‑service research with heart, brains, and purpose. This is a rare opportunity to own projects end‑to‑end, be visible, and work with a senior team that values hands‑on involvement. Projects span environmental, social, economic, and cultural topics, exploring the deeper "why" behind behaviour.

This is a role through Resources Group, with base pay range indicated below. The actual offer will be based on skills and experience.

Base pay range: A$90,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

The role
  • Deliver on a range of Quant and Qual research projects.
  • Work across brand, comms, segmentation, influence mapping, and more.
  • Get involved in big‑picture, socially impactful work with a clear point of view.
  • Drive project design and setup, including input into props, writing questionnaires, recruitment screeners, discussion guides, and managing fieldwork suppliers.
  • Play a key role in analysis, storyboarding and strategic reporting.
  • Take an active role in client liaison, management and presenting.
About you
  • 4–5+ years' experience in Quantitative and Qualitative research and insights.
  • Solid data skills, and proven analysis skills in Q.
  • Experience in qualitative interviewing/group moderation.
  • Comfortable juggling shifting priorities in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
  • Curious, collaborative, and confident working end‑to‑end on survey‑based research.
  • Open to stretching into co‑creation and systems thinking (if you haven't already).
