A well-established, mission-led not-for-profit organisation is seeking a Product Owner to join its Product, Research and Technology team. This permanent, full-time role plays a key part in shaping and delivering impactful digital experiences that support individuals and communities in meaningful ways.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Product, the Product Owner will play a hands-on role in the end-to-end development of digital products and services. Working in an agile environment, you'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, QA, and strategic designers to define and deliver features, refine the product backlog, and continuously improve user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product vision into actionable items and maintain a prioritised backlog.
  • Represent user needs by embedding feedback and insights from real people across diverse communities.
  • Work closely with developers and QA to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Contribute to agile ceremonies, refine acceptance criteria, and support sprint execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify new opportunities based on data, insights, and collaboration.
  • Support cross-functional work with internal teams including Research, Marketing, Fundraising, and Service Delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in a digital, technical or product-focused environment (not limited to traditional Product Owner roles).

Required Skills

  • Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of human-centred design, with a deep commitment to user needs.
  • Naturally curious, collaborative, and solutions-oriented.
  • Energised by the opportunity to contribute to work that has real-world impact.
