Direct message the job poster from Pinpoint Talent Federal Government | Initial 12-month contract | Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne or Canberra We are seeking an EL1 Product Owner to work for a federal government agency on an initial 12-month contract.
You will work closely with User Researchers and the rest of the delivery team to create and improve a product or service, ensuring it meets user needs.
You will be responsible for prioritising product component delivery, according to greatest user needs, working with the team to mobilise and manage multi-disciplinary teams in working pipeline initiatives through the DTA Whole of Government Service, Design and Delivery process (SDDP).
Key duties and responsibilities Lead and motivate the MDT / s and others towards an agile and human-centred design mindset and effective use of agile and human-centred values, principles and practices Be the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs and interests are understood and met Ensure products and solutions meet business goals and oversee quality assurance practices Scope and prioritise activities based on customer value and business need Make sure the product is accessible to everyone Work closely with design and technology to ensure the product is valuable, viable, usable, and feasible Collaborate with enablers and project stakeholders Work with senior staff to plan for and implement effective agile team structures, ensure their offerings are supported and enhanced to create a continuous flow of value Required knowledge / qualifications More than 3 years' experience in product management Strong product discovery knowledge and experience Excellent understanding of human centred design Knowledge of or experience in the DTA Whole of Government Service Design and Delivery Process (SDDP)Knowledge of or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of relevant frameworks, legislation, policies and procedures Please note that you must be an Australian citizen to be considered for this opportunity.
You can work from the Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra office with very flexible hybrid working arrangements (3 days per week in office).
