About The OpportunityWe are seeking an Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for a Max Term Contract, based at the Argyle Diamond mine. This role will entail preventative and breakdown maintenance on our onsite mobile equipment. Working closely with other members of our site maintenance team, this role will report to the Maintenance Supervisors. Based at the picturesque Argyle Diamond Mine, this role provides the opportunity to be part of the closure at one of Australia's most historic and culturally significant projects.
About You- 3+ years' experience in a similar role (CAT Equipment)
- Australian Recognised Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate
- CAT ET & SIS experience
- Display a clear commitment and focus on the health, safety and well-being of all employees
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Willingness to undertake a Pre-Employment Medical & Drug / Alcohol Screen
- Experience in repairing and maintaining our machinery such as: CAT, Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu & John Deere mining equipment
- Current experience in a mining or civil engineering environment, working on large scale equipment
- Diagnose and work through complex problems
- Combination of workshop repair work and field maintenance
- Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a strong approach to safety
- 2:1 Days Only Roster – 12 Hour Shifts
