About the role

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team in the Perth metro area.

You will report to the CEO and Operations Manager and work closely with the sales and marketing team.

This role requires travel within the Perth area. You will be responsible for identifying and building new business and increasing sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Identify and develop new business opportunities across the food service industry in the Perth metro area.
  2. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients through regular visits and communications.
  3. Drive growth within your assigned territory by acquiring new business and increasing sales with current customers.
  4. Develop and implement plans to meet sales targets and business growth objectives.
  5. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, new products, and competitor activity.
  6. Promote EVOO's product range and communicate its value proposition to prospective clients.
  7. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand market presence.
  8. Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse & customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
  9. Complete administrative duties, including sales reports and quotes.
Requirements:
  1. At least 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in the food service or food distribution sector.
  2. A strong understanding of the hospitality and food service industry.
  3. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and develop lasting client relationships.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  5. Self-motivated, results-driven, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
