Shed Bonanza is an Australian, family-owned business with more than 40 years of experience providing Australians with high-quality sheds. We're seasoned suppliers of all kinds of sheds, from small tool sheds to large industrial sheds for warehousing goods – whatever kind of shed you need, we can build it. Our stores are located in Bayswater, Dandenong, and Warragul.

Position Summary:

As a Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding our customers through the process of creating their ideal outdoor storage solution. Your primary responsibility will be to understand their requirements, showcase our diverse design options, and ultimately facilitate the creation of custom sheds that exceed their expectations. You will assist customers through the sales process, guiding their ideas into functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor space solutions. You will report to both our Narre Warren Head Office and either Dandenong or Warragul store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth consultations with customers to understand their specific needs, preferences, and functional requirements for a custom shed.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings, materials, and construction techniques to effectively educate customers on the available options.
  • Collaborate with customers to co-create custom shed designs, considering factors such as size, style, colour, accessories, and functionality.
  • Provide transparent quotations based on the customised designs discussed with customers, ensuring clarity on pricing, timelines, and any additional services.
  • Conduct engaging and informative presentations to showcase our past projects, highlight the quality of our materials, and illustrate the value proposition of choosing Shed Bonanza for their custom shed needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers by maintaining regular communication throughout the sales process, addressing inquiries, and providing updates on project timelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer preferences to contribute valuable insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualification in construction is preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in real estate, custom design, pools, or construction-related fields.
  • Highly process and procedure-oriented.
  • Ability to handle high levels of incoming and outgoing calls and client contact.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical design solutions.
  • Knowledge of shed construction, materials, and relevant regulations is a plus.
  • Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and tools.
  • Great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a competitive environment.
