About the Role
As the Principal Psychologist, you will lead and coordinate the delivery of clinical services across the Centre. Approximately 30% of your role will be conducting assessments and providing interventions to a range of complex clients, with the remaining portion providing quality leadership and support. You'll provide high-quality supervision to a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, social workers, and AOD Specialists, oversee offence-specific and offence-related interventions, and contribute to program development that supports prisoner wellbeing and rehabilitation. This role balances clinical depth with operational oversight, making it ideal for a high-impact, hands-on leader.
What you bring :
- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Experience supervising or mentoring clinical staff
- Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
- A collaborative, outcomes-focused approach
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Resilience, authenticity, and a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Interest in innovative rehabilitation models and multidisciplinary teamwork
Bonus points if you have :
- Experience in forensic, correctional, or complex mental health settings
- Board-approved supervisor status
