  The Role
  
  We are seeking detail-oriented Senior Scaffold Designers to work with our new client South 32 at the Worsley Alumina Refinery in Collie.
  
  This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant access solutions in a high-risk environment. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-performing team working in a Drive-In/Drive-Out (DIDO) or residential capacity.
  
  Key Responsibilities
  • Design scaffold structures using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ScaffPlan, Revit) tailored to refinery conditions
  • Develop detailed work packs including: scaffold drawings and layout plans, material take-offs and load calculations, assembly and dismantling instructions, and safety and compliance documentation
  • Interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and site layouts to create scaffold solutions
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and teams for safe and practical implementation
  • Support scaffold erection and dismantling phases with technical guidance
  • Conduct site visits to assess conditions and validate design feasibility
    
    
  About You
  • Full Australian Working Rights
  • Construction White Card
  • Recognised and relevant trade or tertiary qualification
  • Proven experience in scaffold design in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry sectors
  • Experience with Rope Access or working at heights (advantageous)
  • Scaffold ticket or trade background in scaffolding
  • Strong knowledge of scaffold systems (e.g., Layher, tube & fitting)
  • Proficiency in CAD and scaffold design software
  • Familiarity with refinery safety protocols and confined space access
  • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and compliant work packs
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
