Your Role

We're seeking several Motor Claims Consultants to join our CGU claims teams across Australia in full-time, permanent positions. In this role, you'll be the key point of contact for customers and stakeholders as they navigate the motor claims process.

Your responsibilities will include managing a high volume of inbound calls and correspondence, processing claims efficiently and delivering a seamless customer experience. You'll be expected to proactively handle claims from start to finish, ensuring outcomes that align with our business strategy and focusing on productivity, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Commencing Monday, 1 September 2025, you'll begin with a comprehensive, fully paid induction at one of the following three IAG offices – Dharug Country (Parramatta), Boorloo (West Perth) and Tarndanya (Adelaide). After a minimum of 3 months in the office you may be eligible for a hybrid role allowing work from home within the business requirements. You'll work Monday to Friday with shifts between 8:30am – 5:00pm local time (with slight variations for initial 6 weeks classroom training requirements).

Please note: To work from home, you'll need high speed internet connection, and a private home office set up.

  • Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively in a high-pressure environment
  • Intermediate computer literacy and troubleshooting ability
  • Excellent attention to detail
