About the role:

We are currently seeking casual Demi Chef's to join our multiple kitchen brigades. Opportunity to gain exposure across our high paced, high volume kitchen outlets.

• Prepare, cook and present food to a high standard

• Work collaboratively during service with the kitchen & service teams

• Maintain pace and focus in a high-volume environment

• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times

• Support junior team members and collaborate with senior chefs

• Contribute to a positive team culture with clear communication, reliability & respect

Skills and Experience:

• A strong work ethic and the ability to work at pace
• 'A genuine interest in food and willingness to learn
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and public holidays
• Maintain your self-appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards
• Maintain a harmonious relationship with other members of the service team with respect
• Maintain an acceptable degree of knowledge with regard to food product
• Comply with all of the established hotel operational policies & procedures
• Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S)
• Anticipate and attend to the guest's needs and desires immediately
• Experience in a commercial kitchen (preferred but not essential)
• A strong work ethic and the ability to work at pace
• A genuine interest in food and willingness to learn
• Availability to work weekends, nights, and public holidays
• A team player with a can-do attitude and good communication skills
